Scientific committee will select Oral Presenters and Poster Presenters from the abstracts of registration. Please download registration form and send to this 8thbiomassasia@ibt.ac.vn

Revised abstract submission:

For selected participants (both oral and poster) please revise your abstract so that it is in compliance with the standard format and the review from scientific committee. The review will be sent directly to your email in the next few days.

The one page abstract should consist of objective, results, and conclusion; with title and full author names (first name and family name) & institution (name, city, country). It should 250 words minimal and not exceeds 1 page of A4 paper size (21 cm x 29.7 cm) with normal margins (1 inch on each side), Times New Roman, 11 point, single column and single line spacing.

All presenters should also submit the full paper document. The full paper format is same as one page abstract, except for 6 pages limitation.

Poster submission:

The size of the poster board is A0 (84.1 cm width and 118.9 cm length). Your poster will be displayed on poster session.

This international workshop is offering the opportunity to review state-of-the-art technology of biomass energy production and surrounding technology of biomass utilization.  In addition, the international workshop offers the opportunity for further network formation with biomass energy  from  Asia. The workshop will be conducted in English.

The subject of the paper should address one of the following workshop themes  or sub-themes:

1. Biotechnology in Sustainable Biomass Development
a.  Biomass refinery technology
b.  Sugar platform and biotechnology
e.  Role of biotechnology in enhancing crop yield and biomass productivity

2. Sustainable Biomass Utilization
a.  2nd generation bio-ethanol production from non-edible biomass
b.  Biogas from industry liquid wastes  
c.  Biodiesel production from biomass
d.  Pyrolysis, gasification and BTL (Biomass To Liquid) technology

3. Sustainability Assessment and Environmental Technology of Biomass Utilization
a.  Sustainability assessment program for biomass utilization
b.  Biomass utilization such as plants, algae, and other biomass
c.  Integration of biofuel production, agriculture, and industry
d.  Bioremediation and biomass production

4. Standardization and Industrialization of Biofuel
a.  Biodiesel fuel standardization in East Asia
b.  Industrialization of biofuel production

5. Utilization and an Industrialization of Biomass Energy Researches
a.  Outcomes of biomass energy researchers invitation program
b.  Biomass energy industries in East Asia
